Bangkok airport’s immigration customs

Suvarnabhumi is a huge airport which you might expect the immigration control quite far away from your arrival terminal. Your arrival at the main terminal building could be at a terminal gate or bus gate.  Fill your arrival immigration papers and keep them on hands before entering the custom. Arriving at the immigration control, queues for both Thai passport and foreign’s passport could be long because Suvarnabhumi has several flights coming in daily. However, the lines move quite fast so that you will not be waiting for more than 30 minutes.

If you need to get a visa on arrival, prepare to show your visa approval and pick up at the Visa-on-arrival counter.

After having your visa on your passport of stamped, you are free to walk further to the baggage claim which is right behind the immigration customs. It might take some time until baggage starts running on the conveyor belt, but it would not take too long.
